Every man, without exception, has the right to defend himself, and protect his property. We the people particularly have the right to defend ourselves against tyrants. One of the first things that tyrants seek to do, when they come to power, is to disarm the people. Would the Jews have boarded cattle cars if they had been well armed in Nazi Germany? Would Stalin have had the ability to confiscate food from the Ukraine if they would have had firearms? Would Mao have been able to execute tens of millions of Chinese? Would the Khmer Rouge been able to rewild the cities and establish the killing fields? Would Castro have been able to take over Cuba? All of these atrocitites were able to take place because the citizens were disarmed. Therefore, I am opposed to all gun control.
Gun control means people control.
